Women's day celebration 2026

The Women’s Day celebration organized by the Suvarna Karnataka Bangalore East Zone was inaugurated by writer and translator Maya B. Nair. The event was presided over by Women’s Wing Convener Maya Krishnakumar. Dr. Ranjini Satheesh, In-charge of Suvarna Clinic, K. J. Baiju, State Vice President of Suvarna Karnataka, Rency Mathew, and other members also addressed the gathering.

THIRUVATHIRA CELEBRATION

Thiruvathira is a traditional festival mainly celebrated by women in Kerala on the Thiruvathira star during the Malayalam month of Dhanu (December–January). This year, Thiruvathira was celebrated by the SKKS Bangalore East Zone Ladies Wing on January 3rd.

The brochure of Suvarna Sangamam 2026, scheduled to be held on February 22, under the leadership of the Suvarna Karnataka Kerala Samajam, Bangalore East Zone, was formally inaugurated by handing it over to the State President, Shri A. R. Rajendran, by the Bangalore District Vice President, Shri Iype Chandy.

Suvarna Sangamam 2026 preparations begin with the first official gathering at SKKS Bangalore East Zone office. The grand event is set for February 22 at the Campus Crusade of Christ Auditorium.

Onam Celebration

The Onam Celebration and 3rd Anniversary of the Ladies Wing of SKKS Bangalore East Zone were held at the SKKS Office in October 2025. The highlight of the day was a traditional Onam Sadya, lovingly prepared by our members.
