The Women’s Day celebration organized by the Suvarna Karnataka Bangalore East Zone was inaugurated by writer and translator Maya B. Nair. The event was presided over by Women’s Wing Convener Maya Krishnakumar.

Dr. Ranjini Satheesh, In-charge of Suvarna Clinic, K. J. Baiju, State Vice President of Suvarna Karnataka, Rency Mathew, and other members also addressed the gathering.

Various cultural performances by members and a fellowship feast were also organized as part of the celebration.
